Day 35: Shopping with the Family

This morning my mom asked if I wanted to go shopping with her, my dad, and oldest brother. We were going to help him pick out some nicer clothes and his graduation outfit. He likes to shop when it involves new clothes and I was just happy to be spending time with him. We don't get to hang out very much anymore and I really miss it. We didnt bring the little ones along so that made the trip slightly more enjoyable. We ended up eating at outback and heading to a few other stores afterwards before going to see 2 family members in the hospital. It had, lets just say an unexpected ending. We didnt make it back home until after 8pm and I just hung out with Jake and his family. Over all it was a pretty intersting day and I enjoyed it very much.

Day 34: Friday and Headed Home

Finally headed home again to see family for Easter. We got to see some friends of ours tonight and had a really good time. We havent had a chance to hang out with them since our weddings, the got married to weeks before Jake and I! They have been good friends to us despite us not staying connected to one another over the last few months. So glad we got to hang out with them and catch up with them. Tomorrow we are going to hang out with family and just enjoy the weekend messing with birds and enjoying much needed time of relaxation. I decided to share a wedding shot with you. I of course did not take these. If you like the shot take out skeletonkeyphotography on facebook. She did a great job.

Day 33: Yay for Birds

We're finally back on track with birds! They are moved in and getting ready to fly :) So excited!! They are so so smart and are already trained on entering their kit box when its time to eat. This is also called "trapping". They are learning so fast. They learned to eat, drink, kit, and come to Jake's call all in a matter of about 2 days. Jake is excited to have smart birds and I'm ready for some flight shots! :) I also took my new sweet babies to stay until we can take them back to Muskogee :) Unfortunatly I totally left my camera. So, I'm forced to leave you with another, old, yet favorite shot!
This shot is from my very first wedding!

I also got my TOMS "One Day Without Shoes" package in the mail today! Today turned out to be pretty great I must say! Now to tackle the rest of this week and I'll be set for a great Easter weekend with friends and family!

Day 31: Jake's babies

Well today we headed back to Fayetteville with some extra passengers. Jake brought home some babies. Baby pigeons that is :) We brought home 15 babies and they are now peacefully at home in their spacious kitbox! They will be flying soon and we are both pretty excited. First Jake has to get them trained to their new home and learn when its time to eat. When they start flying I will be takin LOTS of pictures. Action shots are my favorite so I love having the opportunity to get shots of his birds. Some of my earliest "professional camera" work came from his birds, if thats what you wanna call it anyway. I got used to my Nikon D3100 taking pictures of his pigeons and I totally loved it. Here are some pictures of our babies ;)

Day 30: The Cutest Sister

Today was so great. Jake got his barn all cleaned out and started getting his babies ready to move back to Fayetteville with us! We had a great morning but the night got even better when we went to Addie's play. The name of the play was The Saga of Sagebrush Sal. It was a childrens play and just too funny! I had a great time watching the entire thing but enjoyed it so much more when I got to watch my sister. It's obvious that my parents have found her calling. She loves it and she is very good. I think she'll enjoy it even more when she starts to get speaking parts. She was a can can dancer this time and she did a wonderful job. I love having younger siblings to enjoy! All my siblings make me so proud to be the oldest. :) Here are some super cute pictures of Addison!!

Day 29: Heading Home :)

Today after school we headed home to see family. I love weekends when we can get out of Fayetteville and go spend a great weekend with family. School has been slow this week. I guess it has something to do with being back from Spring Break. We'll be going to see my sisters play, checking out and bringing home some new baby pigeons, and no telling what else. I'm just glad to not have to work these next few nights. We're also hoping to see some of our friends this weekend!! Yay!

This is an old shot but I really wanted to share it. This is one of the shots I'm most proud of. It makes my job a lot easier when I have someone who listens and even better, comes to me with ideas of exactly what they are looking for :)
