Day 72: Sorry for the Confusion

One of my blogs never published and was made a draft. That explains the mess up in numbers and days. Read as usual day 70, 71, 72...etc. Day 66 is just as it says, its just out of place on the blogsite. Today I cleaned house and went to work. Not much to say. It wasnt very exciting. I wish is was though cause this is my only week off until Summer classes start. Glad I have a real 6 weeks off after that though :)

I shot this Yesterday after we made it back to Fayetteville. We stopped to fly Jake's birds and the sky was unbelievable. Pictures of the sun and sky never do the actual view justice though.

Day 66: Another Day

Well today is anothe day of studying and work. Tonight was GREAT though. Jake and I have a group of friends here and we all have the same mentor. We're kinda of like a young couples group. We have all only been together once but we're all doing the same dating challenge for the next year. Our female mentor sends us a date idea and the male mentor sends them theirs. They are very creative and interesting dates and can be modified if you like. Also, each spouse has a date each month. That means two dates a month for the next year!! YAY!! Well I did my date tonight and it was a lot of fun. I'm so glad we started this! :) Jake's date will be next week.
Found an old SD card with our first Christmas pics on it. Not sure if these are also hiding on my computer some where or not.

Day 71: Happy Birthday

Today after church we had the kids birthday party at my aunt and uncles. It was also for all the moms in our family. We had a lot of family there and really enjoyed their nice patio and the kids enjoyed the pool. I really wanted to swim but it was just a little to cold for me. Its still so hard for me to believe the kids are so old. Kyler is 9 and Addie is 6. It seems like yesterday I was at the hospital waiting for them to be born. I don't know where I'd be without either of them. Both of them have taught me so much and I love them to the end of the world. :)

Day 70: Dance Recital and Goats

Tonight was my sister-in-laws dance recital. Even though the recitals are WAY to long, I love watching her dance. She's very good and I enjoy when one of her dance's is up. After her recital I was supposed to take a few pictures but she changed right after she was done. She forgot to wait ;) After that we had dinner with all of the family. After dinner we went to my parents to surprise the kids and my mom. As I've said, the kids birthdays were this week (Kyler's was today) and of course Mothers Day is Sunday. We got them both goats. Mom was so excited and it made me very happy. The kids seem to love them too. They are dwark goats and won't get much bigger than they are now. That is the reason we picked these particular ones. Arent they cute?!

Kyler wasnt there when we first came so we had to re-surprise him later ;)

And here are the goats. Sweet little things!!

Day 69: Take a Deep Breath

Today is IT!! The Spanish final is done and over. I was so nervous. I spent the morning pacing, studying, and being sick to my stomache. My wonderful husband helped me study this morning after he got done with his test. It really helped a lot. Once it was over I felt great and realized I was very hungry. :) We headed toward home, I took Jake to Popeye's chicken for the first time. We ate lots of biscuts. We stopped to see his friends new house then made it home. We got to spend the evening with some great friends of ours!
Forgot all about these pictures. My friend gave me a disc of all my shower and wedding pictures she took and I forgot I finally put them on my computer :)

Day 68: Wrap it Up

Wrapping up the week with some final studying. Tomorrow is my Spanish test and the one I'm most worried about! I'm also hoping next week I can get back on track and actually take some new pictures. I hate that I haven't been able to keep up much. School has got me so busy and stressed. All be glad when tomorrow is over and done with. Spanish has really been a tough one for me!!

Found out my Modena's had a baby this week! So excited to go home to see the family and see my babies!! :)

Day 67: Juvenile Test

Well I had my Juvenile Deliquency test today. It took me all of 5 minutes to take it too. It was pretty simple and I'm glad it was. I went to the shelter for about an hour then went to work. So glad school is just about over!!  Summer is going to be so great.

I found this picture of my sister I took a while back. I can't believe she turned 6 today (May 9th)! Happy birthday sis!! I don't know where I'd be without you!

Day 65: I'm So Behind

So sorry I've been behind. Finals week started today and I've been studying like crazy. Today I spent the day at the Shelter, studying, and then to work I went. It wasnt much of an interesting day to say the least. I'm hoping once summer starts things will get a little more interesting. Jake and I are both taking summer classes but class is early and so work will be two. We'll both be home by 5 again which makes me really excited! Today I want to share some more edits from the weekend.

Day 64: And Again....

Worked cows again today. This day was a lot cooler and a lot more fun. It even provided for better picture opportunities. I am so blessed to have people who appreciate my work. Yesterday and today I heard a few people tell me how good my pictures are and even let me know they had been showing them off. God is so good. He blessed me with a little boost of confidence this week and possibly a future BIG photography job (in my book anyways). Even if it doesnt work out, I am so blessed and thankful that I was thought of and told my work was good enough. Here are some more pics, including edits from the weeekend!

Day 63: Working Those Cows

Woke up early, ate some breakfast and spent the day in the hot sun. All I did was take pictures and help ear tag a bit. Those men work so hard. I don't know how they do it. Round-Up weekend is always long, tough, and tiresome! So glad I got to be a part of it all for the 4th time. This is the first time I've brought my camera along though, my first shoot anyways. After we were done we got to head to see my parents. Jake's mom came too. We got to watch Addie learn how to ride her new bike :)

Unedited

Day 62: Headed to Timmons

We're headed to work cows this weekend. Expect lots of good pictures. None for today but I'm excited about a weekend long shoot! :) This should be interesting. It'll be a totally new experiance for me. I'm also hoping to get back into the swing of things and actually take daily pictures. It gets tough between school, work, and everything else we have going on. :)

Old pictures. She's grown up so much! Her birthday is in just a few days!

Day 61: Crazy Day

So today I was supposed to go Volunteer at the shelter, but that didnt happen. Wanna know what DID happen?! I stopped by a local store to waste time since I had gotten out of class early. Some how I lost my keys in the store. I panicked because I thought I'd locked them in my car...again. When I saw they weren't in my car, I REALLY panicked. I looked all over the store but I knew I hadnt laid them down. I was so confused at to what had possibly happened. After waiting 4 hours on Jake to come unlock my car (hoping they were in there somewhere) one of the sales ladies found my keys. Somehow they had gotten stuck on a hanger in the clearanc area and I didnt realize it. I remembered then that I had placed my keys under my arm. I guess the hanger snagged them right up! :( I got about 2 hours at home then headed to work. It made for a long day!
Thinking about my Chi Alpha friends this week. I miss being able to go. Hopefully next semester we'll be back on a schedule where we can.

Day 60: Great Things End

Ok so this thing, not so great but its ending. This will be my last "long day". School is done after this week until Summer classes start but thats only 1 class. Lots of prayers are needed for the following week. Here come finals! :( I am not excited for this AT ALL!

Old Main! Saying good bye for now! I'll see you next fall! :) This shot was taken during the big snow storm!

Day 59: So Sweet ;)

My husband took off work early today so we could hang out. He even surprised me with a movie :) It makes me feel so good when he thinks about me  like that. He is the sweetest. Before the movie we had a few errands to run. We ended up locking out keys in the car. Some how we both left our keys in. Thats right, two sets of keys in the same car, locked in!! lol :) I'm not sure how that worked out! We had to pay to get the car unlocked and although that part is annoying, it made for an eventful day. I think we both really enjoyed a day with each other and a nice date to top it all off :)

He's gonna be so good with our kids. He is so awesome with our neice Gracie and my younger siblings Addie and Kyler.

Day 58: LAST WEEEK

Its the last official week of school! Whose excited...me me me!! I have been disappointed with how Spanish is ending but Bio ended great. Two more tests in Spanish and I'm FREEEEE. I have to take another Spanish next semester but I've heard its easier. How much sense does that make?

Thinking of my youngest siblings today. Their birthdays are next week and I just can't believe how old they are. Seems like yesterday I was at the hospital waiting for them to arrive. Addie will be 6 and Kyler will be 9. :(

Day 57: Sunday=Funday

.....Well at least this time!! We had a pretty good and relaxing day. After church we headed to the animal shelter for orientation and "dog walking training". My husband and I are both officially trained and ready to walk dogs ;). I know what your thinking. "You have to be trained??" Yes, the shelter does this so that all volunteers are trained with what to do on how to get the dogs out of their run, into the yard, and out to play without injury or fights. Its hard to take a dog out when 30 other dogs want to be out too!! I really wish I could catch up on pictures, the end of the semester is really kicking me. I'll have lots for the weekend though!! :)

This picture is from last year, but is exactly what is happening this weekend. We'll be heading to our friend Ron's for a weekend of working cows, eating good food, and visiting with some great hard working people.
